A New Year and New Courage

It has been over two years since I posted here. The last thing I wrote about, about being behind the glass during the COVID pandemic, was actually one of the experiences that led me to develop PTSD. I have had good therapy and good from support family and friends and work. But I haven’t had the courage come back to writing or to posting images. I haven’t believed that anything I have to say could be worth anyone’s time. But as I contemplate this new year, and since the word “courage” is in the title of this blog, I think it is time I wrote anyway.

The first thing I did this morning when I woke up was to put on my boots and take off everything else(!) and with a big grin on my face, I lept into the snow in the 22 degree weather and make a snow angel. Laughing and gasping and giggling all the way. So let’s start there. Happy New Year, everyone. I pray your year is off to a sweet beginning.
